Major Real Estate transactions successfully completed by our firm include the following:

  • Advised Petaling Garden Berhad on strata and management matters in respect of its commercial developments in Bandar Baru Seri Petaling known as the “Langsari Business Centre” and “Zamrudina”, as well as on the formation of joint management bodies and management corporations.
  • Advised Hana Daol Fund Management Co. Ltd. of Korea on its acquisition of the office towers known as NU Sentral 1 and NU Sentral 2 as well as stratified office units in the commercial development known as “Q-Sentral”, and its disposal of NU Sentral 1.
  • Advised Sri Lempah Corporation Sdn. Bhd. on strata title and transfer issues in respect of its ‘Bangunan Sri Lempah’ development.
  • Advised Korea Investment & Securities Co., Ltd. on strata title issues related to acquisitions by Korean investors of stratified units in the Savanna Apartments, Bukit Jail.
  • Advised Prompt Capital Sdn. Bhd. (a subsidiary of Ekovest Berhad) on its stratified mixed residential and commercial development known as “EkoCheras”.
  • Advised Vintage Heights Sdn. Bhd. (a company owned by, inter alia, Guocoland (Malaysia) Berhad and Hap Seng Consolidated Berhad) on its disposal of plantation land to Putrajaya Properties Sdn. Bhd.
  • Advised SGOS Capital Holdings Sdn. Bhd. (a wholly owned subsidiary of the State Financial Secretary of Sarawak) on its subsidiary Ivory Success Sdn. Bhd.’s agreement with Borneo Isthmus Development Sdn. Bhd. for the management of the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching.
  • Advised Hotel Equatorial Management Sdn. Bhd.’s on its Malaysian special purpose vehicles’ proposed development of a commercial building on land previously occupied by the Equatorial Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.
  • Advised The Hershey Company on its lease of industrial land from a subsidiary of MMC Corporation Berhad for the construction of its Malaysian plant.
  • Advised Khor Joo Saik Sdn. Bhd., the proprietor of Menara Binjai, on its letting of all commercial units therein.
  • Advised Neptune ABS One Berhad, a special purpose vehicle established by Lehman Brothers, on the disposal of Northam Tower, Penang.
  • Advised Pan Malaysian Industries Berhad on the disposal of Menara PMI by its subsidiary Fairway Properties Sdn. Bhd.
  • Advised Malayan United Industries Berhad on its subsidiary CSB Holdings Sdn. Bhd.’s agreement with the Seremban Municipal Council on its proposed commercial, retail development known as the ‘Seremban Mall’.
  • Advised Malayan United Industries Berhad on its subsidiary MJ Properties (Komtar) Sdn. Bhd.’s disposal of the Komtar land in Penang.
  • Advised J.P. Morgan Chase Bank Berhad on its tenancy at Integra Towers at the Intermark.
  • Advised Tangs Department Store (Trading) Sdn. Bhd. on its 1 Utama department store tenancy.
  • Advised Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn. Bhd. on its joint development agreement in respect of the integrated water supply scheme at Balakong Jaya, Selangor.
  • 1 Billion Initial public offering of new units representing undivided interests in Sunway Real Estate Investment Trust (“Sunway Reit”).
  • Purchase of Sungei Wang Plaza, a Kuala Lumpur central business district strata-titled shopping complex with offices.
