Confidentiality

(a) We regard client confidentiality as of paramount importance.

(b) We will not disclose confidential information or knowledge that we obtain as a result of acting for our client to anyone else unless compelled by law to do so.

(c) For matters with sensitive information, it will be handled by a limited number of partners on a need to know basis.

(d) All client documents and information, both softcopies and hardcopies are kept in a secured environment.

(e) Access to our office is also secured by an electronic pass system which records the name and time of entry and exit of persons.

(f) We also have confidentiality provisions drafted into all our employment agreements for lawyers, staff and paralegals and all our lawyers are subject to confidentiality provisions under the Legal Profession Act 1976.

Professional indemnity insurance

We have professional indemnity insurance coverage of RM 9.3 million for each and every claim and in the aggregate, which is at the top end of the market.
