  • Advising the owner of a Malaysian hotel group on its proposed disposal of a Kuala Lumpur hotel (Ongoing).


  • Advising Sime Darby Property Berhad on its USD520 Million and USD1.2 Billion build to suit and lease mega data centre projects with a subsidiary of Google LLC.


  • Advised Sime Darby Property Berhad on the sale and purchase of land in Elmina Business Park Phase 2 (ongoing).


  • Advised Sime Darby Property Berhad on its build to suit and lease with Skyways Technics Asia Sdn. Bhd. (ongoing).


  • Advised Iron Mountain Inc. in its bid for a data centre build to suit project in Malaysia for a Chinese internet technology developer of social media platforms / video sharing apps.


  • Advised Asia Capital Reinsurance Malaysia Berhad on its disposal of 25 office units in Menara UOA Bangsar.


  • Advised GLM Emerald Industrial Park (Jasin) Sdn Bhd (a joint venture company ultimately owned by GuocoLand (Malaysia) Berhad and IOI Corporation Berhad) on its disposal of the following lands, all located in Jasin, Melaka: (1) 549 hectares to Scientex Heights Sdn Bhd, (2) 263.8 hectares to Parkland Avenue Berhad, (3) 243.52 hectares (Ongoing); and (4) 32.14 hectares to 3 individuals.


  • Acted for C P Group on the disposal of 2 large parcels of development land in Penang, Malaysia to Ivory Utilities Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of a listed company.


  • Acted for Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad and its subsidiary KLIA Aeropolis Sdn. Bhd. in its built-to-suit and lease agreements with Spirit AeroSystems Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. and Senior Aerospace UPECA for premises located at Subang Airport Aeropark.


  • Purchase of oil palm plantations by MHC Plantations Berhad and PPB Oil Palms Berhad.


  • Advised Hana Daol Fund Management Co. Ltd. of Korea on its acquisition of the office towers known as NU Sentral 1 and NU Sentral 2 as well as stratified office units in the commercial development known as “Q-Sentral”, and its disposal of NU Sentral 1 and NU Sentral 2 to, respectively, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission and the Social Security Organisation.


  • Advised Vintage Heights Sdn Bhd (a Guocoland (Malaysia) Berhad and Hap Seng Consolidated Berhad joint venture company) on its disposal of approximately 700 hectares of plantation land to Putrajaya Properties Sdn Bhd.


  • Acted for Hong Leong Assurance Berhad in its agreement with Ivory Associates Sdn Bhd for the design, build and thereafter sale and purchase of shop office premises in Penang.


  • Advised Neptune ABS One Berhad, a special purpose vehicle established by Lehman Brothers, on the disposal of Northam Tower, Penang.


  • Advised Sabna Development Sdn Bhd (a subsidiary of Guocoland (Malaysia) Berhad) on its disposal of prime CBD land to Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (Diperbadankan) (Retirement Fund (Incorporated).


  • Advised CP Group on a proposed JV in Melbourne for the acquisition and development of a piece of commercial land into a hotel and retail shopping mall.


  • Advised ENRA Group Berhad on the proposed reclamation of 200 acres of land in the offshore financial centre of Labuan from Labuan Corporation, a State agency and on the transaction agreements (i.e. the reclamation agreement, sale agreement and turnkey contractor agreement).


  • Advised Ekovest Berhad the master developer in a land reclamation and joint mixed development including commercial, information-media technology valley, tourist attractions, marina, residential and recreational components with the State Government of Johor for a large scale waterfront project in Johor Bahru.


  • Advised Reliance Pacific Berhad the master developer in a land reclamation and joint mixed development including a marina, clubhouse, workshops, docking facilities, bungalows, commercial shops and buildings and other forms of related facilities, buildings and structures and residential and recreational components with a Government-linked company for a large scale waterfront project in Negeri Sembilan.


  • Advised BBN Development Berhad on its development of Bandar Baru Nilai new township and various property, tenancy, project development and management transactions relating to Bandar Baru Nilai new township.


  • Advised Reliance Pacific Berhad and IJM Corporation Berhad on their joint venture development of World Square, Sydney and Avillion Hotel, Sydney.


  • Advised CP Group on the sale of Queensbay Mall Penang, the largest strata titled shopping mall in Penang and related facilities and car parks, to Capital Mall Trust Singapore.


  • Advised Genting Plantations Berhad on its cross-border joint venture with Simon Property Group U.S. to develop, construct, manage, operate and lease outlet malls selling premium brand apparel and general merchandise in Malaysia and Singapore under the brand of “Johor Premium Outlets”.


  • Advised Ireka Corporation Berhad on its joint venture commercial development of One Mont’ Kiara Kuala Lumpur with a large Singapore property company.


  • Advised the MTD Group on its purchase of the Shell Malaysia Building in Damansara Heights, Kuala Lumpur.


  • Advised a foreign shareholder in relation to a joint venture for the planning, development and marketing of industrial lots and buildings which are to be erected on an aerospace park near a major airport in Malaysia, with focus on the aerospace and aviation industries or logistics warehousing, distribution and supply chain management.
